The Textural Ball Pendant Necklace is a study in form and feeling. Sculptural yet grounded, its rounded brass silhouette carries a richly textured surface that catches light in quiet, deliberate flashes. Bold without being loud. Refined without losing warmth.

At its centre is a brass ball pendant handcrafted in Ghana using the ancient lost-wax casting technique. Each piece begins as a hand-sculpted wax form, encased in clay and transformed in molten brass before being gold plated. Because the mould is broken after casting, no two pendants are ever identical. Subtle markings and surface variations remain — honest traces of a process rooted in generations of craftsmanship.

The story then continues in London.

In my studio, each pendant is carefully assembled by hand and paired with a twisted red cotton cord,  a vibrant contrast that adds depth and intention. The meeting of Ghanaian casting tradition and London craftsmanship results in a piece that feels both heritage-rich and distinctly contemporary.

The ball pendant (approx. 2.5 × 3.5 cm) rests at 25 cm, sitting higher on the neckline for a closer, more intimate presence. Lightweight yet impactful, it transitions effortlessly from everyday ease to evening expression. Worn alone, it feels sculptural and considered; layered, it becomes part of a more expressive narrative.
